Amy and Tekno move through the dark cooridoors of an old Robotnik base. they emerge into a large chanber with a transmission dish and a device resembling the emperor metalix throne. atop the throne sits Cynthia, who is revealed to be Teknos sister! The two have a prickly reuinion. Tekno is incensed but Cynthia seems amused by the whole thing.

AMy and Tekno sprint through the jungle while a single Metalix pursues them. amy takes it out with a crossbow bolt and the pair arrive at a bunker hidden in the foliage. Tekno is able to gain entry with just her hand print and Amy is shocked. We see Tekno cast sinisterly in shadow.

Amy, Tekno and Tails fight against the now awakened Metalix, finding them much tougher than the training excercise. Midway through the fight Tekno detects and signal and vacates the scene. Amy follows, leaving Tails to fend for himself.

It is revealed that all of the attacking Metalix were actually tails and his friends wearing metalix bodies as armour for a combat drill. after everyone leaves, the bodies suddenly get up after receiving an unknown signal.
